Day 63 login
On the workbench sat a single cardboard box bearing a peach logo. After peeling off the tape with a satisfying swipe, a row of bottles filled with clear liquid was neatly lined up inside.
Whoooa… a dozen beautiful [Soda] bottles…! My eyes are sparkling already.
Yes, this is the item that was delivered just now by [Nightingale*], a member of the [Momotaro Finance] clan.
The original cardboard box is cute and really gets you excited, right? Using wrapping items makes packaging like this super easy.
Fortunately, Nightingale-san, like Momotarou-kun, is the type who doesn’t interfere unnecessarily, so the transaction went smoothly.
She’s a bat-themed girl dressed all in black—an avatar with a mysterious, or frankly gloomy atmosphere. Her voice is so soft I worried it might blend into the background if we met in town, but communication was no problem at the quiet station.
Today I bought some soda and a few recipes. I also got a quick tutorial on how to use Momotaro Finance.
The system basically works by having them bring the items I ordered this time at the next time.
Although it’s surprisingly well-organized, it’s still a player-run clan. There is no catalog listing all available items.
The customer can certainly request something like “I want a ★5 [Wise Cloth],” but whether it’s in stock and can be delivered in time is uncertain.
Aside from universal items like soda, which have consistent quality and effects, Kimakura’s item world is quite complex.
“I did say I wanted a ★5 Wise Cross, but the pattern on this fabric is a bit…” Situations like this are pretty common.
Many users utilize the “Recommendation Service.” This is a service where staff members assess customers based on their occupation and level, then select and bring items that appear likely to meet their needs.
Buyers essentially use it as a “catalog,” allowing them to purchase items they want from within it. It’s a convenient system.
Therefore, I decided to utilize this service myself.
This time, Nightingale-san had prepared and brought out the items for me to examine, and I ended up purchasing some of their recipes. There weren’t many, but there were some crafting recipes as well, and a few caught my eye, so I bought them.
I suppose Momotaro-san has heard that I’m reacting particularly strongly to recipes. They have prepared various recipes for other occupations as well, and just browsing through them is enjoyable.
I only have the [Crafting] and [Painting] skills from other occupations, making it pointless to buy anything else.
I’ve requested transactions every other week for now, so Nightingale-san is scheduled to come back in two weeks.
I have ordered extra soda, of course. Next time, they’ll prepare more craft-based recipes too. I’m looking forward to it~.
Another thing that’s been on my mind is the third service Momotaro-kun presented: ‘Management Consulting (Advice on Pricing and Products).’
When I asked Nightingale-san about this, she said this is handled directly by Momo-san himself. If I contact him via Talk, he’ll give me his feedback personally.
For example, what should the price be for products, or what items are currently in demand?
This is an area I’ve been struggling with, so I’ll try using it next time. Honestly, to be blunt, I’m considering raising prices on items—especially skill-enhanced items.
Lately, the skill-enhanced items I placed in the shop have been selling out the moment they hit the shelves. Seeing how popular they are, I’m starting to think about raising the prices—a little greedy, I know.
As I mentioned earlier, I’m a hard-spender when it comes to my gameplay. If I could earn more, I could create the things I want to make, go to the places I want to go, and even afford some larger purchases.
Even with the same skill attached, there’s usually a difference depending on the skill type, and effects vary too—some are popular, others aren’t.
Until now, I’ve set skill-enhanced items at a flat rate. Because my own level was low and I didn’t care much about effects, I’ve put prices on autopilot.
But recently, the range of items I can craft has expanded in terms of performance, and it’s time to reevaluate the price tags.
These adjustments need to be made as soon as possible once you notice them. The longer you wait, the more likely you are to face consumer backlash.
I’m aware my name is starting to get more recognition, so I want to be careful about how I handle things like this.
Well then, shall we get started producing right away using the soda that arrived?

[Kimakura Utopia. Talk Room (Official)・General]
[((Bomu))]
Kudou becoming Sasa’s personal handler is hilarious
[Nightingale*]
It’s all ee’s fault
[Kuruna @ Comeback]
3745 is also at fault for instantly making Sasa×Rin’s lovey-dovey MAD
[Murasame @ Anze-sama Fan]
You’re not disciplined at all, Efy.
[Poiret]
Sasa, Kudo, Rin—waiting for that heartbreaking love triangle short film
[hyuy @ Looking For Friends]
KUDOU was the type to get mad at the lover who cheated, not the one who was cheated on, huh.
[Pan Festa]
Honestly, I didn’t even know Kudorin was dating anyone, so this whole thing is fucking irrelevant to me.
[Maki]
That
Honestly, the only thing left is my wounded heart over the fact that social butterflies do exist in this game.
[Madness]
Turns out society’s the one racking up hate, lol
Those guys are stuck dealing with the normie extermination squad, and Sasa’s stuck dealing with Kudo..
At least the snowfield campaign’s going smoothly
[Itachi]
Rinrin couldn’t bring herself to match with Sasa after all, huh?
That costume version was so good, I wanted to film it.
[Mayu]
You know what? They said they’d wear it if Boutique-san put items with the same design on sale in the shop.
[Poifreu]
She’s selling it in-store! Yay!
[Marin]
This is crazy. A Japanese-style clothing boom is coming, huh?
[Poiret]
From the vibe lately, it seems like Boutique-san won’t sell skill-enhanced gear to the general public anymore.
I’ve been holding 2.5 million in reserve, waiting.
[Anonymous]
2.5 million is just way too cheap now.
The other day, some skill-enhanced clothes with a ridiculous design sold for 4 million, lol.
[Elnegy]
Ah, that verification thing from the info broker’s place lol
An hour of pure agony just drawing lines on the original design screen lol
[Major Sergeant Ororo]
Even brain-dead work like that does build some skill
[Alaska]
Second attempt: Didn’t work
Third attempt: Miracle effect applied
Fourth attempt: Didn’t work
Fifth attempt: Didn’t work
[Tsubaki Hina]
I’m getting bored with drawing lines, but I’m slowly building up my design skills.
[Peet]
The members who did the verification are taking a break right now due to mental exhaustion..
[Milk Kingdom]
Don’t push it, informant.
Even watching videos sped up twice makes me feel like I’m going crazy.
[Itachi]
Boutique-san, who regularly supplies Miracle Creation.
[Mentai Mayonnaise]
Maybe: insane
[Poifreu]
I’ve got some free time lately, so maybe I’ll try the Miracle Challenge too.
From what I’ve heard, it doesn’t require specific skills, such as technique or taste.
Realistically, all you need is time and luck, so it can’t be that hard, right?
[Nightingale*]
It’s not wrong
However, it is harder than you think to reach the point where you actually roll the dice.
If you say you’ve got free time, then by all means give it a shot—I hope you become a national treasure or whatever.
The demand for collectibles is always higher than the supply.
[Itachi]
When you think about it, Miracles itself isn’t that great overall.
Since the effects are random, there are plenty of underwhelming ones, and low-level creators’ effect Miracles are often just plain trash.
The fact that they’re rare doesn’t change that.
[((Bomu))]
That’s why B-san, who not only pulls off miracles but also seems to produce skill-enhanced items regularly, is just… abnormal.
Has she discovered some secret strategy, or is it the result of painstakingly and steadily crafting outfits over time?
Are there countless failed attempts lurking behind those glorious, skill-enhanced success stories…?
[Poiret]
That’s totally something that person might do..
Seriously, she never shows up in the field at all, right?
[Makoto-chan]
I finally found a safe zone… ( ´・ω・)
[Kuruna @ Comeback]
I can’t believe we are playing the same game.
[Anonymous]
Well, that’s Kimakura. It happens.
[Kuruna @ Comeback]
That makes sense.
