Day 65 login
Today is Saturday. I have successfully resisted the usual Friday night temptation to stay up late, and the current time is 6:30 AM.
Today is finally the long-awaited day for the Omakase Date.
The date switches to private mode, so worrying about anyone else’s eyes is unnecessary. However, the scenario isn’t that long, and even if I take my time playing while snapping screenshots, I’ll still have about an hour to spare.
The extra time spent in the usual free mode, so in that case, the quiet morning hours are definitely best. With that in mind, I forced myself to get up early.
As soon as I logged in, the back door knocker clattered. I huffed, taking a deep breath through my nose.
Come on, Ciel-chan, where will you take me today? My heart racing with anticipation, I opened the door—and there she was.
“Morning, Vivia.”
Ciel-chan in a cardigan and a dress.
“Vivia, good morning~”
Behind them, Shanta-chan suddenly appeared, dressed in a different-colored outfit.
Shanta-chan. Shanta-chan? …Shanta-chan.
………………Huh?
“Sorry about this. Shanta insisted on coming along, wouldn’t listen to reason…”
“Well, I don’t have class today and I’m bored. It’s fine, right? We’ve got one more cute girl now—you should be thankful.”
Zoe-san…………………I’m sooooo sorry!!
I have absolutely no idea how or why this happened.
I did give Shanta-chan an [Earth Crystal] as a present to boost her affection. But I thought I’d taken every precaution.
I properly told Zoe-san, “I’m giving Shanta-chan a crystal too!”, and I’ve been favoring Ciel-chan even more to make up for doting on Shanta-chan.
But I never imagined I’d get to go on a date with them at once…!
This situation feels like a major irregularity. This two-person date is a rare case, probably limited to the twin characters, Cie and Shan, and only in the “Leave it to me (Omakase)” mode.
When I looked at the official announcement’s list of characters available for omakase dates, they were grouped as ‘・Ciel & Shanta’.
—Yeah, that phrasing had caught my attention. I’d brushed it off thinking, “Oh, probably to avoid spoilers,” but… apparently that wasn’t the only reason.
“We’re here, Vivia.”
Ciel-chan’s voice snapped me back to reality from my stupor.
We were inside a carriage now. Guided by her declaration, “First things first, I’ll invite you to my place,” we’d just traveled through Lestein.
I calmed myself and decided to put aside the endless questions for now.
There’s no helping it now that two of them have come. Playing with Ciel-chan and Shanta-chan has to be a happy thing.
I’ll just enjoy the date event and worry about everything else after it’s over.
With that decision made, I stepped down from the carriage. This was my first time in the Noble District.
In fact, I just hit level 50 yesterday, which means I’ve only just unlocked access to this area. This is a restricted event; even if my level were lower, I would have been allowed in as an exception.
Right, Ciel-chan and the others are noble ladies, aren’t they? Their manners are so down-to-earth, and they dress stylishly like ordinary girls who love fashion, so it’s easy to forget.
They seem like a baron’s family, so maybe they’re not that wealthy? Or the nobility in this country isn’t quite the same as the hardcore upper class I imagined.
I had doubts before us was a huge, grand mansion.
The exquisitely designed arched windows and spires topped with weather vanes are beautiful.
Lestein’s atmosphere blends steampunk with a medieval-style, rugged stone townscape. While blending well into that scenery, this mansion gave a slightly more refined, early modern impression.
The servant who greeted us was a proper maid with elegant manners. Seeing her only made the twin young ladies, dressed in outfits closer to modern town girls, feel even more out of place.
Kimakura’s setting can be chaotic at times, so getting hung up on it is pointless.
The maid with gentle-looking blue-gray eyes introduced herself as Rufina.
“Are you Vivia-san? We always hear about you from the two of them. Thank you for being such good friends to them.”
“Hold on, Rufina, that’s not right. We’re the ones who’ve been helping her out.”
“Vivia’s shop seems to be doing well lately, but it was really struggling at first. It probably became popular because we stepped in to help her out.”
“Now, now. You mustn’t say such things. I hear Vivia-san is a disciple of Tefana the Sage. She has great talent to begin with. Vivia-san? I’m sorry about those sharp-tongued young ladies. They actually adore you and respect you tremendously.”
Though she’s merely a servant, Rufina seems close to the twins. The two are scolded and pouting, but even in such small gestures, you can see their trust in Rufina, which is heartwarming.
As we watched this exchange, the gentleman with the same bull’s horns as Ciel-chan crossed the hall. He was handsome, but the dark circles under his eyes were distracting. He noticed us and stopped.
“Oh, is this your friend? Ciel, Shanta.”
“Papa!”
“You’re back?”
The twins ran up to him, beaming. Calling him ‘Papa’ meant this man was Ciel-chan’s father and the baron who owned this mansion.
His name is Herman Edwisch. He was so friendly towards me, and I breathed a sigh of relief.
When you think about it, a noble lady with a friend like me, a common tailor, would normally be looked down upon. But the people in this mansion don’t mind at all.
Lord Edwisch just seemed terribly busy and left after a brief greeting. Ciel and Shanta look lonely and sulky.

Regarding Manboth, rebuilding the field is faster than countering them with items or equipment.
It’s an easier question: repeatedly doing random gacha runs until you get a full team of well-matched members, or mindlessly grinding away at land clearing forever.
[Iris]
The crazy carpenter is being crazy again today(^ω^)
[Narutick]
Wasn’t Watawata a national treasure?
Are you churning out boutique-level items too?
Those who get national treasure status usually pass off the super-powered gear to their inner circle, so I’m clueless about how that whole thing works.
[YTYT]
Impossible
Boutique is abnormal
[Narutick]
So that’s how it is…
I struggled to come up with original designs for weapons and tools by twisting and turning my nonexistent sense,
But after repeating one hour per item five times, I only got three Miracles and zero collections.
So empty…
[YTYT]
Furniture and architecture-based miracle skills aren’t about gathering but timing, so they differ fundamentally from specialized crafting professions.
Architecture-based miracles especially require several times the time of specialized crafting.
The nature of the work makes that natural.

>>Narutick
Miracles probably depend not just on time but also on the number of steps involved; it’s pointless to keep fiddling with something you have no talent for
Just mindlessly adding dots and lines makes more sense.
The info broker’s verification did succeed using that method
[Drop Birth Control Supremacy]
Everyone’s getting too hyped over the info broker because they got one collection.
It’s only five times, five times!
That’s overwhelmingly insufficient verification.
[Rinrin]
Verifying Miracles is pointless.
Filling out communicative missions or maxing out job changes to boost skills is way more worthwhile.
[Narutick]
Well, I hit max level and lost my drive after that.
Changing jobs and leveling up again is too much hassle, so why not try out the Miracle system everyone’s talking about?
[Anonymous]
Just when you said that, they lifted the level cap! \(^o^)/ LMAO
[Kuma-tan]
Whoa… seriously? lol
[Behind the Shadow]
Hah
I just switched jobs, but screw you, admins
[Narutick]
This is no time to be trying for Miracles lol
