Today I’m going to make a dating outfit for myself.
The star of the show will be Queen Ciel, and I will become her support. It will be more relaxed compared to Ciel-chan’s outfit.
First, I made a dress using dark red [Spider Ester]. I combined the recipe for the [Dirndl Dress] and the [Jacket] and drew a draft.
Dirndl is a dress with a low neckline and a tight waistline, like a jumper skirt. It is a folk costume from around Germany.
While the official recipe was sleeveless, I changed this to a balloon sleeve about a quarter length. The collar and front line removed from the jacket are added to match the wide-open collar.
The skirt is gathered to the fullest. It is modest and neatly styled, with a length around the calf.
Although I’m supposed to be her attendant, it would be unacceptable for me to look shabby. This dress has frills, a black lace hem, and a pannier to wear underneath, so it doesn’t modestly lose its aristocratic elegance.
Then I made [Lolita Headdress] from the same material as the dress.
The white blouse worn underneath is decorated with many frills and lace of the same color on the collar and bust and tied with a black ribbon tie.
As for shoes, black pumps with crossed straps like ballet shoes are worn.
To complete the look, add a pair of white thighs with stripes of lace woven into them, and voila, an elegant lady attendant matching outfit is complete.
When I try it on, yeah, it looks good.
Since my character design is a petite, bob-haired young lady, on its own it looks more like a young lady from a noble family. At least with Queen Ciel set it would look appropriate.
Now that everything is ready, let’s go and deliver the finished outfit to Ciel-chan.
The destination is the Rennie Blom Department Store in the town center. The entire building is a fantasy department store run by NPCs, and there is an event where you can pick out an outfit for a date in the clothing department on the third floor.
“There are not many new items for sale, and everything for sale can be bought at World Market, so it’s not a place for old users to visit. That could be why no one noticed the event at the department store until now. Or it could be a normal event that has been implemented recently. Sometimes new features are added to this game without any notice. There is a rumor going around that the management might not be able to keep track of the development of AI’s work.”
That’s what Takenaka said. It feels like a quick scare story, but let’s not think too deeply about it.
Takenaka has confirmed that this common event occurs even with characters other than Ryl.
He first noticed this feature when he won the opportunity to date an unpopular character who was not Rylstein.
When increasing the character’s favorability for game progression, he unexpectedly finds that he can go on a date with the character and discovers this new feature.
He wasn’t particularly attached to the character, but he did a lot of testing as a rehearsal for the real date while not going through with the date itself.
At the top of this old-fashioned spiral staircase, Ciel-chan is—ah, there she is!
As I approach and executed the command to talk to her, I went into individual event mode. Ciel-chan noticed me and raised one eyebrow.
“Oh, Vivia, what a coincidence. Are you shopping for the weekend trip?”
I heard that Ciel-chan was here, so I visited and followed her. Instead, I responded with a flash of smile and stamp.
“Ufu, you’re hopeless. Were you looking forward to it that much? And now that we’ve run into each other here, it makes the weekend all the less worthwhile. But what can I do? We’re just that good together!”
Said Ciel, smiling her seductive charming smile.
