High Orc leader’s POV
This is Franbel Forest.
Once we pass through this forest, we will reach the town where the King is.
But today, I have no business there.
“Braawhh! (Everyone! Catch the elves that got away!)”
“Bwaah! (Got it!)”
If you impregnate an elven woman, she makes a good orc hatchling.
They escaped before we could reach the village, but we managed to track them there.
Franbel and the elves are bitter enemies.
Because the former demon king was protecting the elves.
Behind the elves is Franbel, and in front of them is us.
The elves are in a desperate situation.
We are a small elite unit.
We are only 20 animals, but I’m confident we can defeat any magical beast.
And I am a High Orc.
I can say that I am as strong as the Minotaur.
You will understand my strength if I tell you I can fight on equal terms with a hero.
While walking through the forest, a cat with glowing eyes appeared before us.
It’s a fat one. I’m going to eat it for dinner.

Tomita (Cat) POV
I’m in the forest, power-leveling Yotsuba.
After defeating several large monsters, Yotsuba seems to have levelled up a bit.
[Yotsuba, how are you feeling?
Does your body have any pain from the level up?]
An ice-letter block that says [I’m OK] came down.
Hmmm, I’m relieved to see that levelling up doesn’t seem to make me sick.
I first noticed that if I am the only one who kills the monsters, Yotsuba doesn’t get any experience (?).
If Yotsuba defeats the monsters she has injured with her [Skill], she will gain experience.
The experience point can be seen if you appraise it.

And after walking for a while, I came across a pig-faced, bipedal, magical beast marching by.
Oh, they noticed us.
“Bwabaah! (Go die!)”
The pig-faced monstrosity has attacked me.
Just to be safe, I use my [Listening] skill to listen to their words, but it seems they’re trying to kill us, so we don’t have to be merciless.
While avoiding the attack, I apply [Heal] to Yotsuba to refresh the MP.
Since it is a recovery skill, I thought it could be used this way, so I tried it, and it was possible.
Yotsuba uses [Freeze] on them.
Upon further appraisal, I found it to be a High Orc.
Okay, its HP is decreasing.
This should give Yotsuba some EXP when I kill it.
I hunt down the High Orc’s head with my claws.
“Bwah?! (Leader?!)”
“Bwraah! (Everyone! Avenge our leader!)”
Yotsuba uses [Freeze], and I slam the finishing blow.
I replenish MP with [Heal] and repeat.
The High Orc corpse is retrieved with [Four Dimensional Space].
“Bwarahh! (Ridiculous?! How can a mere cat be this strong…)”
“Bwawah! (I’ve heard about it! The strongest monster lurking in the forest!)
During the night, it kills indiscriminately with its eyes glowing gold! It’s also known as the Golden Eyes Demon!)”
A High Orc that says things I don’t understand while getting disposed of by my claws.
I’ve heard about Golden Demon because it’s a novel by Ozaki Kouyou.
Several of them ran far away, but I killed about 17 of them.
Now, let’s deliver Yotsuba back to town before Nancy-san wakes up.
