The sudden bursting of the fruit of the Tree of Remembrance caused the tree to lose its power, the forest barrier to break down, and the stampede to resume.
The government was looking for people to help stop the stampede and protect the town since many of the monsters seemed to have drifted toward the town of Rendluszka.
The work can be divided into three main tasks.
The first is to stop the monsters from advancing.
In this case, there is a concern that if the monsters are completely defeated, the ecosystem will collapse, and the forest, a treasure trove of raw materials, will be destroyed.
The best thing to do is not to kill them but to calm them down or put them in a comatose state and return them to the forest.
This requires special items such as anaesthetic bullets and food containing sleeping pills. The second task is to prepare these items.
This is where the crafters can contribute.
The third is to repair the damaged parts of the town.
The balanced progression of these three tasks will lead to the mission’s success.
The monster disposal team will consist of hunters and beast tamers. The production team will consist of pharmacists, chefs, and blacksmiths. The restoration team will consist of carpenters, merchants, and gatherers who will procure supplies to support the production team.
As a tailor, I’m not sure I’ll be able to join the team. The monster disposal team is the only thing I can barely participate in.
Normally, there is a rule that one must have a hunting license to attack monsters for purposes other than self-defence. But in this case, that rule doesn’t apply.
This means that even I, someone with poor hunting skills and no hunting license, can participate at least for a time. Since the levels of the monsters are divided by location, I should be able to make it if I choose the place with the lowest level zone.
