Day 37 login
I have decided. Starting today, I am opening up my in-shop sales to players.
In the past, players were only allowed to purchase items from the world market, and the actual shop was set up for NPCs only. I planned to open the shop to players when I got used to the game, but I decided to do it now instead.
I decided to do it now because the soda experiment created many good items with Miracle.
Listing items on the WM can be swallowed up by the system under the guise of being bought by NPCs before you know it.
Until now, I had thought this was fine as long as it was a game. The money that comes in is similar, with or without a commission.
But it’s a shame when it comes to Miracle with skills. For example, it would be one thing if Ciel-chan or Mikoto-kun went to the shop and bought the items after meeting them, but it would be a little sad to see them disappear on the World Market without our knowledge.
I looked on the Internet for information about in-shop sales to players and found that they seemed easy, so I decided to try them.
At first, I expected to do all the customer service and stuff myself. But you can set up a copy of your avatar at the counter.
Simple transactions can be left entirely up to the copy.
Players can shop even when I’m not home using this feature, so I don’t have to worry.
Since NPCs don’t make purchases in shops unless served by NPCs themselves, there is no need to worry about precious items being swallowed up by the darkness.
In-shop sales are appropriately differentiated to give the player-customer an advantage.
Moreover, the bells that announce visitors are set to different tones for NPCs and players. That way, you can avoid the situation where you think Ciel-chan has visited your shop only to find that it’s a player customer.
Although those who want to enjoy interaction with customers will serve the customers themselves, I’m okay with it for now.
There is only one weakness: this copy avatar cannot exist in the same space as the main body. This means that even if I have a copy set up, it disappears when I show up on the shop floor.
If a player customer comes to the shop when you want to operate the shop at the counter or after completing an NPC visitor event, you can’t avoid a face-to-face encounter.
In the end, we are playing online games, so I wouldn’t say I refuse to interact with them. If that happens, I’ll have to use my excellent communication skills to deal with them.
Now, let’s set up the copy.
What? You can decide beforehand what the customary greeting or response will be when buying or selling.
Let’s record simple words like “Welcome,” “Thank you,” etc.
Then, use a stamp with flowers flying in a friendly manner~
The number of people who can enter the shop simultaneously can be set in the player sales settings.
If too many people come to the shop, shopping would be challenging. But it’s unlikely to happen in such a remote place like this….
It’s a small shop, maybe with just two people. Given that there aren’t many visitors, it would be okay to have just one person, but people may want to enjoy shopping with someone else.
Then, I’ll group all the Miracle items and limit the sales to one per person per day or one set per person.
Considering the high price and the fact that it comes with a brand tag, not many people are likely to buy many. Well, it is a special item.
Another feature of in-shop sales is the availability of fitting rooms and a video log of visitors interacting with the copy for a certain period.
I wonder what kind of people will come to the shop? No, but I shouldn’t get my hopes up too high.
There is no advertisement for the shop opening or the products, and the shop’s location is the worst.
Even though the World Market is getting a pretty good response, it is probably just this and that. There is a good chance that the number of players visiting the shop will be zero.
If that happens, I’ll probably offer a trade to my new friends, who have been increasing in number recently.
But somehow, I’m starting to look forward to it.

[Kimakura Utopia. Talk Room (Official)・Production and Sales Room Discussions]
[Mayu]
The flea market isn’t that profitable, considering the high fees for opening a stall
Though it might be a good way to advertise your shop or for an event
[Behind the Shadow]
Players are the only buyers
There are a lot of people who want to hang out, but the purse strings are tight
[Narutick]
Mayu is affiliated with Momo, right?
There’s no need to worry about money
[Mayu]
That’s true. But it’s a cheat, and I don’t want to rely on it too much
Besides, I want to sell what I like freely
[Hiroto Umezawa]
The flea market is all about public recognition
Once you have attracted enough customers, it’s very convenient for holding inventory cleanups and big sales
[Yoshino-san & Beppu]
Opening a clan shop is terrific, isn’t it?
The members become fake buyers, and the customers will naturally approach
[Ying*]
Eh… I would never want to go to a noisy clan’s booth
It’s ok if 2 or 3 people run it, but if it’s theatrics with more than three people… it’s impossible
[Tsubaki Hina]
What about cold and unfeeling theatrics?
[Ying*]
I’m drawn to it (*‘ω’*)
[Takenaka]
Did you hear this, newcomers? It’s the user’s reality
[Major Sergeant Oloron]
There are only those who either see the darkness of Kimakura in a few days and give up or those who fall into the darkness of Kimakura in a few days
There are no newcomers and veterans
[YTYT]
There is only darkness… the abyss widens…
[3745]
How about having stalls outside of the flea market?
As long as it’s not in the center of the town, it wouldn’t cost too much, right?
[Behind the Shadow]
It depends on where and what you sell
With all the World Market conveniences, face-to-face sales will remain a hobby unless you do it very well
[Kohaku]
It’s okay to do it as a hobby
Because there is something romantic about a shady street vendor…
[Don’t Deny It]
I understand that feeling (・ω・)
Regardless of sales, flea markets and street stalls are a lot of fun
If you regularly do it in the same place, you’ll get to know people and become friends with them
[Ying*]
Ugh…
Dear heartwarming community, please don’t come here to purify this rubbish game…
[Narutick]
Don’t worry
I will open a stall in Maizpolis and act like a scammer. I won’t be purified
[Ying*]
I’m glad to hear that (•ө•)
[Yoshino-san & Beppu]
Did something happen to Ying-san? Lol
