All sorts of people from Franbel came to the isolation facility.
The rumor about me spread across the nation in less than a month, and apparently across the world in less than two months.
Those without symptoms were given antibodies, given the [Lord of the Forest] ’s commands, and then sent home.
Later, I learned that people from outside Franbel had also come to me for treatment.
The soldiers were surprised when the chancellor from a neighboring nation came secretly.
Occasionally, beasts from the place called the Beast Kingdom trespassed into the forest to see me.
After treating them, I tried to give them antibodies, but then I reconsidered—giving human antibodies probably wouldn’t work.
Without a choice, I used [Heal] to create beast-specific antibodies and [Appraised] them.
I gave them the antibodies from the test results via Cat Touch and sent them on their way.
Some people tried to kidnap me, but I told them I’d create a giant monster puppet with alchemy, and they ran off screaming.
Although the infection still exists worldwide, it has subsided considerably.
After I cured them, the [Heal] users who came asking how I did it seemed to be doing their best in various places.
About a year. A lot happened.
The facility is also getting pretty worn down.
It’s only natural with how much people use it every day.
I stand before the isolation facility.
Today is the day it gets demolished.
Not that there’s any ceremony or anything.
All I have to do is break it down into materials using alchemy.
The soldiers confirmed no one remains inside the facility. Since it seems clear, I perform transformative alchemy.
The building becomes a block of artificial marble.
The block will be stored in my Four-dimensional Space.

This is the King’s Chamber in the palace.
The King has summoned me today to present my reward for my contributions in combating the epidemic.
Nobles who heard the rumors rushed over, sending me gold, silver, and treasures, but frankly, I couldn’t care less.
Later, I’ll dump them on Aurene or Yotsuba.
“Well then, Grand Mage, what reward do you desire?”
“Nyaa (Here’s the list of rewards I want).”
I hand the king a list detailing the items and services I demand.
The list was decided after consulting with Yotsuba.
During the consultation, when I wrote, [I don’t particularly need anything] Yotsuba was dumbfounded, saying, “Are you an idiot?” and told me, “Make sure to properly demand compensation for your labor so the king doesn’t take advantage of you.”
“What?
Grant 800 billion G in cash to the Grand Mage,
Permanently exempt Clover General Store from all taxes and sales restrictions,
Grant 10 plots of land, including Clover and the surrounding areas,
Grant 100 million G bonuses to soldiers involved in fighting the disease, starting with Percy,
30 fine wooden boxes, and then…”
“……”
The king finished reading the list, and the room fell silent.
“Don’t play around! Are you trying to bankrupt the kingdom?!”
The Minister of Defense roared.
“Yeah, yeah!” the soldiers echoed.
“Grand Mage, aren’t your demands a bit excessive?”
The king asked, though I thought I’d been quite reasonable.
The treatment using one type of monoclonal antibody drug costs several million yen per person per month in modern Japan.
And I gave several types of anti-tuberculosis antibodies to countless people for an entire year.
“Ho ho ho.
It seems these folks here have no idea what a monumental feat the Grand Mage has accomplished.”
A short, old man with a thick white beard all over his face chuckled.
Who? I’ve never seen him before.
“Pleased to meet you, Grand Mage.
My name is Clay XI, King of the neighboring country of Clay.”
