After crossing the border, our Flying Dragon Army has reached the skies above this forest.

I’m called the Dragon Demon King, but I’m not actually a Demon King—just a fake one.
In other words, I’m merely one of the candidates for Demon King.
By overthrowing the current Demon King, I’ll seize the true title of Demon King and rule my world.
Demon King Tomita overthrew Demon King Gorn within a year, but he was too much of a musclehead.

Based on the intel I gathered beforehand, there were rumours about a cat who could use magic, but those rumours were false.
Probably mistook it for one of the Demon King’s beasts.
Demon King Tomita didn’t pursue us, just watched quietly.
Guess he didn’t think it was worth killing us.
The difference in strength is obvious.
Even if we challenged him again, we’d lose.

Tomita (Cat) POV
The intruders seem to have left thanks to the giant dragon statue covered in orichalcum.
I used [Appraisal Disguise] on the statue to make it appear like Demon King Tomita.
Given my small body, the intruders would probably underestimate me, so I surprised them with the giant statue instead.
The sound was made by scraping rocks together, while the inhaling motion used transmutation to compress air, creating negative pressure to draw in outside air.
The compressed air carried the infrared rays, forcing stones to be expelled. The stones shot out at high speed, apparently burning and melting.
It felt like recreating a kaiju movie, and it was fun.

The elves didn’t seem surprised, knowing I’d been doing something with alchemy.
