Finally, I stepped into the second town!
Stepping out into the town with my delighted party members, multiple pop-ups suddenly appeared before my eyes.

Carmela and Macaron Macaron were startled by the multiple pieces of information. But I was just as surprised. Last time I checked the bulletin board, I only saw up to where the area boss was discovered. I didn’t know about the function unlock??
“Ohhh. So this is what Pome Pome-san was talking about on the bulletin board—how people would be surprised when they arrived in town~.”
“Menma-chan, you haven’t watched Pome Pome-san’s videos yet, huh? I only saw the post and came straight here to recruit for a party, so this was a surprise for me too.”
Menma-san and Harumaki-san seem to know something. Pome Pome-san? I’m pretty sure they’re a fairly famous streamer. I’ve watched their videos for other games a few times myself. Let’s ask them.
“Pome Pome-san is that famous streamer, right? Are they here in this town too?”
“Didn’t you see Pome Pome-san’s post, Plana-san? You know, Pome Pome-san was actually the first to defeat the area boss and reach Sekado!”
“They posted their name on the General Info board and wrote about it—apparently they got a title for being the first player to reach this new town! But they didn’t say what the title was or what actually happened when they arrived. They just wrote, ‘I’ll upload a video later, if you want details check out the video!’ and then logged out.”
“I see, a title is pretty impressive. I’ll check out the video later!”
This title info is new. I’ll definitely have to check that out. Then there’s the “Portal Travel” and “Flea Market Board” that popped up earlier? I have a vague idea what both are, but I’ll double-check the Help section just to be sure.
There was some unexpected info, but we’d finally arrived at a new town. Since we each wanted to check things out separately, we decided to disband the random party.
The two elves seemed a bit reluctant to part, but no one sent friend requests or anything; we disbanded. That’s the beauty of a random party—this kind of straightforward relationship.

Walking around the new town, I found that just like in Fas, there was an Adventurer’s Guild, weapon/armor/tool shops, and a church—and to my surprise, a “Skill Shop”!
Inside, it was bustling with players who had arrived earlier, and shelves were packed with scrolls. True to its name, it specialized in skill scrolls.
They were selling basic weapon skills and general skills, plus magic and support skill scrolls! This was great, but looking closer, the prices were insane!!
Even a [Swordsmanship] skill costs 500G! Elemental magic skills like fire or water are 1000G, and something like [Subordinate Magic] is a whopping 5000G.
I see, guild skill training is cheap but time-consuming. Skill scrolls are expensive but let you learn instantly. Hmm, there’s no skill I absolutely need to learn right now, so I’ll pass for now.
After the skill shop, I checked out the new weapon and item shops and also prayed at the church. Also in Sekado Town, there was a portal square, so I sat on a bench there and decided to gather info from the bulletin board.
People are talking about area bosses and Sekado Town in all sorts of threads. When I see discussions about things I’ve actually experienced, it gets me all excited.
Oh? The last walking thread is buzzing with other topics now. What could it be?

Huh, so there was a thicket west of Fas Town. Although I don’t know this person’s race level, getting one-shot killed means this bird must be pretty high level, huh?
I wonder how far this person actually walked. I’ve been wandering the grasslands gathering stuff too, but I never saw any woods??
The new information was pretty surprising, but I’m getting tired now. I also want to check out Pome Pome-san’s video, so I think I’ll log out for dinner.
On that note, I checked out the new features too. “Portal Travel” lets you move from a portal in one town to a portal in another town you’ve registered before. “Flea Market Board” is a player-to-player item trading feature you can access from the menu.
Once you set the item you want to sell and its price, register it. The system automatically lists it for sale, and anyone who wants it can buy it. If you see an item you want, you can open the menu anywhere and buy it from the list—super convenient!
However, there were only three registrations. Can I add more later?
Among the random party members, there was actually one person from the walking thread community.
We didn’t become friends this time, but we might meet again someday. Now then, I wonder who it could be?
