This is the King’s Chamber in the castle.
I’m Percy, a guard at the castle.
Today is my wedding day with Nico.
Over this past year, I finally managed to win Nico’s heart.
The wedding will be held in the castle.
My fellow soldiers pleaded with the King.
They begged him to celebrate us within the castle walls.
The King gladly granted permission.

Usually, only nobles hold weddings like this.

…Huh?!
I get out of bed.
“Good morning, Percy.”
It’s Grandma.
She’s wearing a handmade dress, smiling brightly.
When I look up, I see the familiar, worn ceiling.
This is my house.
“You seemed to be having nightmares. Are you okay?”
“Yeah, it’s nothing. I’m fine.”
Needless to say, what happened earlier was a dream.
Why did I have such a strange dream?
Was there a part of me that thought I wasn’t worthy of Nico-sama?
“Today’s my grandchild’s big day.
If Carrera and Gemini were still alive, they’d be so happy.”
“Dad and Mom are surely celebrating in heaven too.”
Saying this, I finished breakfast and put on my armor.
This is a soldier’s full dress uniform.
“Come on, let’s go.”
“Right.”
Taking Grandma’s hand, we set off for the royal castle.
