Day 68 login
“They’re selling…”
I opened the shop screen cautiously and couldn’t help but mutter that.
The 3.5 million [Cold Breath Costume Set], the 6.5 million [Lace Japanese Clothing Set], and even the 8.5 million [Full Bloom Dress]—all three skill-attached items I listed yesterday have sold.
All of them had price tags attached exactly as Momotarou-san advised.
After being told that, I couldn’t back down. I decided to give it a shot, so I went ahead and entered those high prices. I never imagined they’d disappear in just one night.
I was relieved to find no negative messages about the price increase so far.
It seemed consulting Momotarou-san had been the right call after all.
The number in the [Total Assets] column… look at those digits! 8, no, 9—that’s right, it surpassed a hundred million.
At last, I’d reached my savings goal. I couldn’t help but let a smile slip.
Once decided, there’s no time to waste. I immediately opened the shop page I wanted on World Market.
[Lestein Real Estate]. As the name suggests, it’s the official shop handling land and properties in the capital city of Lestein.
When making a big purchase like this, you really should head to a physical store instead of WM. The handling fees are outrageous.
However, I was in such a rush right now that even that little bit of time felt precious.
After planning and wishing for this for so long, it would have been unbearable if someone beat me to it in those few minutes while I was heading to the store. This makes the millions in fees seem worth it.
Hmm, I know my sense of money is a bit off.
But this is just for this one shopping trip, okay? When I’m done with this, I’ll go right back to my modest gaming life.
The reason I was in such a rush, though, was this! This spot! I had my heart set on a specific property I desperately wanted to buy. They were the spaces surrounding the room I currently use as my home base.
Yes, I’ve finally decided to expand my shop.
I had thought about moving or opening shop somewhere livelier if I was going to buy real estate, but somehow I just fell for this spot. Fortunately, there are no slow days at all right now, so I don’t really see the point in changing locations.
Then again, working away quietly in a sunless back alley like this is actually the most relaxing.
There is another reason I rushed to buy: I had several specific items I wanted to purchase. Fortunately, there’s quite a bit of vacant space around my home.
Although it’s not bustling, there used to be other players’ houses and shops here before. While I was taking it easy, maybe everyone else moved quickly into the central area.
But now it’s actually a good opportunity. If I’m going to expand, then I might as well do it all at once.
If I take too long, someone else might snap up the land I planned to buy along the way.
Better to wait until I’ve saved enough to buy all the properties I want, even if it means taking a bit of a risk. If that means losing out on expansion opportunities, well, I’ll have to bite the bullet and move to another area.
So, I clicked on four items.
First, I doubled the space of my shop.
Then I added a new type of room called a “VIP Room.” This room also occupies the same amount of space as the original shop floor.
It’s like buying the adjacent plots on either side of your home.
Another interesting thing about Lestein is that I also purchased the floor directly below my existing home.
Yes, Lestein is a large fortress city formed by multiple small buildings, rooms, and towers clustered together. This means expansion isn’t just horizontal—it’s easy to go up and down too. Multiple layers already exist as part of the townscape.
That’s why it’s incredibly complex, super easy to get lost, and quite difficult to build a detached house—those are the downsides.
The lower level space is planned to be an atelier for production work. The size is three times larger than my current workshop. Hehe, I’ll be able to fit more mannequins, and I’ll have room to get a little fancy with the interior design, so I’m super excited!
And for the last item, I added a little garden as a bonus.
Rather, it’s more accurate to say it inevitably came with a garden. The space I bought for the atelier originally came as a set with the garden.
Why is this the only one a two-in-one deal? The garden is built like a balcony, connected only to the room it came with.
When you step outside and look up, it looks like a little hanging garden. Pretty impressive, right?
Right now, it’s overgrown with weeds, and the walls are covered in vines, but I’ll get around to fixing it up. Or it’s fine just like this? I like this abandoned look.
It depends on my mood.
There’s a reason I changed the atelier’s floor level. I wanted to move the back entrance—the one I use daily.
I’m grateful my shop’s been thriving lately, with lines forming, but that means I often bump into customers waiting outside when I leave.
I was feeling a bit unsettled, so I wanted to move the home’s entrance away from the shop’s entrance. The public passageway leading to the lower levels is already a bit removed from the boutique. This way, I can go out without feeling self-conscious.
Heh heh heh, this is the perfect renovation plan.
The total cost is roughly 130 million. Once I click the purchase button, several surrounding plots and rooms will be mine.
But I’m satisfied just having bought them for now.
When it comes to actually putting this expanded space to use, there’s still a lot of setup needed. I’ll need tons of items to furnish it properly.
I’ll get around to preparing those things later, but for now, I’ll tackle today’s routine production tasks.
Ahhh, this feeling. This feeling of still having so much to do in the game is overwhelming.
It’s such a great feeling.

[Zen]
Is Ciel Shanta and Viti like a small animal being protected by a delinquent and another delinquent?
[Milk Kingdom]
The early misfortune arc, then their glorious transformation into villainous young ladies, had me laughing out loud lol.
[Yuki]
Villainous young ladies or delinquent girls…
Actually, Zen’s description of them as delinquents might be spot on.
[Chon]
The way the twins flirt with guys totally gives off classic rival heroine vibes.
[Bourbon]
Honestly, they seem like mean gals.
[Dog?!]
But somehow you can’t help but like them, lol.
I’m Team Ryl, but that’s that.
[MSR @ SK]
Disrespecting Ryl-sama? Absolutely unforgivable.
[Mirosura @ Member No. 3]
I absolutely hate it, but I do appreciate that she pioneered this new territory of “Huffing Ryl-sama.”
[Kuma-tan]
The twins’ date event is so exciting!
[Tori Tamago]
Boutique-san saves the day.
[Pu]
When I heard Zoe lost, I was like “No way,” but if it’s B-san, well, I guess it can’t be helped.
In a sense.
[Poiret]
It’s a relief, but she’s not going to disclose the twin date conditions for sure.
[Light Emperor Sakipon]
Is the twin date definitely with B-san?
Source?

After the omakase course, she was seen nervously walking around inconspicuous places in town.
[Marin]
Just pretend you didn’t see that…
[Tori Tamago]
Hold on, hold on, hold on lol
I was zoning out watching the summary date, but I burst out laughing at “Take-kun.”
The management really screwed up again lol
In a way, this is the most heinous screw-up ever, lol.
[Rena]
Ah!
