Whack. Thud, thud.
The sound of nails hammered into a wooden board echoes throughout the area. While looking up at the shape that has taken form and feeling a sense of accomplishment, it’s about time to take a break and stop working.
After sitting down, I take out my water bottle, rehydrate, open the in-game bulletin board, and read the usual walking thread.
“Huh? Why did you go underground but fall from the sky? The people on this side are riding horses, that’s crazy. Everyone is doing amazing things!”
With those thoughts in mind, I skimmed through the thread when suddenly everything in front of me darkened.
“Hmm, this looks interesting.”
“Freesia-sama! It’s been a while.”
Looking up, I speak to the massive figure. Freesia-sama occasionally shows her face as if to show she cares about me. I am grateful for that.
“This has come a long way. It’s impressive that you’ve managed to get this far in such a place.”
“Well, I got permission to fix it up, and I’ll do my best for now.”
He continued the conversation with a dry laugh. Sure, building something like that in a place like this might not be very useful. But he had come all this way on a long journey. He might as well give it a try.
Even if this was a deserted ruin with no sign of life other than himself and NPC Freesia…
Ah, the weather was nice and sunny today. I’ll take a leisurely walk outside in the afternoon and post photos on my usual thread. With that in mind, I finish my break and grab my hammer.
“Okay! Let’s do our best today!”
